Raku Wood Hand Cremation Urn

Color, art and meaning come together in the Raku Wood Hand Cremation Urn. A vivid art panel on the front shows an open hand with a spiral at its center, an image often linked to healing, protection and the journey of life.

The artwork is framed by warm, natural wood, giving it the feel of a gallery piece. It suits a creative spirit, someone drawn to Southwestern art, or a family who wants a memorial that feels hopeful.

Engraving can be added for a name and dates.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size urn do I need?

A common guideline is one cubic inch of capacity for every pound of body weight before cremation, so a 220 cubic inch urn like the Raku Wood Hand Cremation Urn generally fits an adult who weighed up to about 220 pounds.

Can a wood urn be buried?

Yes. Wood urns can be buried, though many cemeteries require an outer urn vault to protect the urn and keep the ground level. Check your cemetery's rules before the service.

How do I care for a wood urn?

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid cleaners or water on the art panel. Keeping the urn out of direct sunlight helps the colors stay vibrant.

When will my order ship?

Place your order before 1:00 PM CST on a weekday and it ships the same business day. Engraved urns ship the same day once the proof is approved by 1:00 PM CST, and anything completed later ships the next business day. We are open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
